You sleep in a plush bed, dine on expensive organic food, and go for long walks every day. Morning noon and night, someone massages you and tells you how good you are. It's a charmed life, and yet...you can't shake the nagging feeling that something's missing.
Dude, you're a dog.
Dogslife explores the POV of the modern pampered pup. Like Seinfeld with extra hair, our dogs spend most of their time together, talking about and and obsessing on the small stuff. In a place where the language is foreign, the customs are senseless, and all of their basic instincts are repressed, the dogs are constantly trying to figure out the meaning of the world around them. Who are they? How did they get here? What the hell is my owner saying? Why does my butt smell so awesome?
And while there is plenty of laughter, this show is more than a trip to the dog park. It speaks to the human condition as only animals can do. From "Lady and the Tramp" to "Meerkat Manor," viewers have always found their own emotions reflected in the stories of animals. DOGSLIFE is no exception. |
